Community
Be part of a collaborative community of self–reliant farmers, gardeners, and teachers who practice permaculture. Permaculture is an art and science that works with and treats nature as part of the community.
Imperative
Protecting the health of our planet and each other is our central imperative. By enriching the soil and microbiome, while minimizing our dependence on fossil fuels, we can build a decentralized, local, and diverse food system that helps nature reach its full potential.
Philosophy
We are guided by an ethos of care and personal responsibility towards ourselves, the local community and its natural ecosystems. Permaculture relies on cooperation and interdependence, reducing consumption and waste, and sharing the surplus of our labors.
Objective
Our community is dedicated to learning and implementing permaculture design. We offer courses that lead to Permaculture Design Certification (PDC), workshops, permablitzes, and regular social events.
